Correction (3 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten from scratch: every place below was confirmed at two independent sources between 2 October 2026 and 3 October 2026, and every price was copied from the page it was published on.
A good dessert list is a list of what is on the menu, not adjectives. Every entry below comes from the place’s own site, with the price where we could read one and the gaps left as gaps.
Five stops. One is in Pakenham and four are in Beaconsfield, so none is in Officer itself: this is a list in and around Officer. Gelato, Indian sweets, Swiss cakes, cookies.

Augustus Gelatery (Pakenham) — 825 Princes Highway, Pakenham VIC 3810
Augustus Gelatery’s store page says: “Get a scoop (or three) of our creamy, tasty gelato”. It adds that it offers “plant based and lactose free options”, and that there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Its FAQ says pets can come, but they stay outside the shop.
The store page lists 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM from Monday to Thursday and on Sunday, and 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, and it says hours vary between stores, so check. OpenStreetMap records only the shop’s name. We read a flavour list on the page but no prices. The address comes from the brand’s store page.
The build: Scoops of gelato (Italian-style ice cream, usually denser than regular ice cream), and the site gives a flavour list with no prices we copied.
Streets of Punjab — 1A/52–62 Old Princes Hwy, Beaconsfield VIC 3807
Streets of Punjab lists “Gulab jamun, rabdi jalebi, kaju katli and seasonal sweets made in-house.” Its services list includes Sweet Orders, as well as dine in, takeaway and home delivery. We read no sweet prices on the site.
The site’s hours are 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday and Tuesday, and Thursday to Sunday. Wednesday says Closed.
Order: Ask about the sweets before you plan around them: gulab jamun (milk dumplings in syrup), rabdi jalebi (fried batter spirals with thickened sweet milk) and kaju katli (cashew fudge) are named, and none has a price we could read.
Greens & Grains — Shop 1, 46-50 Old Princes Highway, Beaconsfield VIC 3807
Greens & Grains says “Desserts from 5pm” on its site. Its menu page has a Desserts from 5pm section whose items and prices we have not ledgered here, so read them on the menu page. It also says “Breakfast and lunch until 3pm” and lists a “Kids Menu”.
Its trading-hours page lists Friday 07:30 am - 08:30 pm and Saturday 8 am - 08:30 pm. The site says prices “may vary based on add-ons, extras, and sizes”, so check them.
On the menu (copied from greensandgrains.net.au on 2 October 2026):
- Original Acai Bowl (starts at): $15.50
The build: The one priced item we read that lists a soft serve is the Original Acai Bowl: “Original Sambazon Organic Acai, Vegan Coconut Soft Serve, Granola, and Fresh Bananas.” It starts at $15.50.
Beaconsfield Swiss Patisserie — Shop 5, 2 Beaconsfield-Emerald Road, Beaconsfield VIC 3807
The patisserie’s site says it makes “authentic Swiss chocolates, cakes & pastries” and hand makes specialty cakes for all occasions. The prices we read are for whole cakes, not slices, and the site publishes no per-item pastry prices.
Its hours are printed as 6am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, and Saturday 6am to 2pm, closed Sunday. The footer table says Saturday 6am to 4pm, so check Saturday before you go.
The Apple Strudel is $28.50 and the menu says it serves 8. The menu describes it as puff pastry shaped into a flaky log, filled with diced New Zealand apples, cinnamon and sugar.
On the menu (copied from swisspatiss.com.au on 2 October 2026):
- Vanilla slice cake (serves 10): $54
- Black Forest cake (serves 10): $60
- Chocolate mud cake, small (serves 6): $37
Order: For a table of ten, the Vanilla slice cake is $54 and the Black Forest cake is $60, and both serve 10 per the menu.
Big Boy Cookies (Beaconsfield shop) — 1/114-120 Old Princes Highway, Beaconsfield VIC 3807
Big Boy Cookies’ site says: “Come visit for some fresh cookies, specialty coffee and delicious milkshakes inspired by our cookie flavours!” Its FAQ says it offers “a small range of gluten free and vegan cookies”.
The web shop lists the Apple Crumble cookie and the Biscoff cookie at $8. The page does not label that “each”, so read it as the product price. For boxes, Build Your Own 4 Box is $29, Build Your Own 6 Box is $42 and Build Your Own 10 Box is $68.
Its own pages give conflicting opening hours, so we print none. Check before you go.
On the menu (copied from bigboycookies.com.au on 2 October 2026):
- Apple Crumble cookie: $8
- Biscoff cookie: $8
- Build Your Own 4 Box: $29
- Build Your Own 6 Box: $42
Order: If it’s a first visit, the single Apple Crumble cookie at $8 is the simplest order.
