Frankie’s Top Shop — 20 Cowderoy St, St Kilda West VIC 3182
Corner-shop roots, cafe menu. Frankie’s calls itself a neighbourhood cafe, food store and take-home-meals shop, and it’s open seven days. Broadsheet’s listing explains the name: it honours Frank of Frank’s Milk Bar, the corner shop that used to trade here.

Its old web address no longer shows the cafe, so there is no menu of its own to quote. Its DoorDash storefront showed it as an active store on 1 October 2026 and lists Cowderoy’s Pancake, a homemade pancake with berry compote and vanilla ice cream, and Cowderoy’s Big Brekkie: two eggs on multigrain, bacon, hash brown, chorizo, mushrooms, avocado and roasted tomato. Delivery-app prices aren’t counter prices, so none are quoted here.

Hours on its own site: 7am to 3pm weekdays and 8am to 3pm weekends, with holiday changes posted on Instagram. (The Fitzroy Street precinct directory lists Mondays as closed, so a quick check doesn’t hurt.)
